All Things Coffee + Starbucks Copycat Cinnamon Shortbread Iced Latte!

There’s a new Starbucks drink in town — the Cinnamon Shortbread Latte — and signs for it suck me in every time I step foot into a Target or Kroger with a Starbucks. This limited-edition beverage blends espresso with milk, incorporates notes of brown butter and vanilla, and is topped with a sprinkling of nutmeg and cinnamon.

GOOD news! I’ve come up with a yummy copycat Starbucks Cinnamon Shortbread Iced Latte Recipe, which means you’ll be able to continue making this treat at home long after it has left your local Starbucks location. I think this recipe is as good or even better than Starbucks! The cinnamon flavor adds a warm fuzzy feel to your average latte.

To start, a good bean makes a good latte. Have I told y’all about Lavazza coffee? I’m wondering why I don’t rave about it everyday, because I drink it and LOVE it everyday!  I make iced lattes and go back and forth between Lavazza Gran Crema Espresso and Lavazza Super Crema Expresso, depending on what is cheaper on Amazon at the time I need it.

Amazon sells Lavazza in whole bean, ground and K-Cup.

Next, we use the KRUPS EA8808 super automatic espresso machine that is pricey but AMAZING! Any drink you can think of is ready in a minute with the touch of a button. Cleaning is very easy. Also available on Amazon!

If you don’t have an automatic espresso maker, I can’t recommend this AeroPress Espresso Maker more! It’s small enough to travel with, doesn’t need plugging in, takes 30 seconds, and puts out REALLY GOOD espresso! Check out the 8,000 positive reviews on Amazon. *Uses ground espresso.

Now that I’ve laid the framework, here’s the recipe you’ve been waiting for…
