Top 10 Picks From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

We shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in person and had SO much fun wandering the store, browsing the sale, and trying on way too many clothes!

After seeing everything up close, we pulled together the pieces that truly stood out: my Top 10 picks + my daughter’s Top 10 picks from the sale.

These aren’t just things that looked cute online — these are the pieces we saw, touched, tried on, and absolutely loved. The “add to cart” pieces. The ones you’ll actually reach for and wear all season long.

My NSale Top 10 Picks:

1. Varley Milano Half-Zip Sweatshirt My favorite item from the entire sale! You truly have to see this one in person. The textured, puffy stripes make it look so elevated and classy. It’s currently sold out in both colors, but I still wanted to share it so you’ll be ready to grab one if it gets restocked!

2. Caslon Bell Sleeve Mock Neck Merino Wool & Cotton Sweater A not-so-basic sweater that pulls your whole outfit together the second you put it on. The fit is spot-on, the fabric is incredibly soft, and it’s one of those easy pieces you’ll be reaching for all season long.

3. Mother The Hustler Roller Sneak High Waist Wide Leg Jeans I tried all the jeans and these came home with me! Order one size down from your norm. They ran a full size larger than all of my other Mother jeans.

4. FP Movement Pippa Packable Puffer Jacket The second I tried this on, I knew it was coming home with me. I guess I was too busy loving it because I didn’t even get a picture. So good! It’s the perfect layering piece for fall and instantly elevates any outfit. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing it on repeat all season long!

**They didn’t have the Retro Sun Martini print in-store, but it was at the very top of my wish list, and I have one on the way! If your size is sold out, keep checking back. This print has been selling out since day one, but I’ve already seen several restocks.

5. Zella Soft Luxe Wide Leg Pants These are made from the softest, cloud-like fabric and are so cozy, while still somehow looking put together. I’m wearing them on a 5-hour flight as I type this, and they are absolutely dreamy.

6. Soft Luxe Raglan Sleeve T-Shirt This was a standout from the sale and wasn’t even on my original NSale radar! It’s such a great find and pairs perfectly with several of the Zella bottoms from the sale. It also has a cinchable waist that lets you create a bubble hem.

7. Zella Pleated Drawstring Skirt I love athletic skirts, but almost all of mine have built-in biker shorts with those tight, grippy leg bands that drive me crazy by the end of the day. These have built-in shorts too, but for whatever reason they feel so much less restrictive. They’re comfortable enough that I’m planning to wear them to Disney in a couple of days.

8. Free People Frankie Stripe Cable Stitch Cotton Sweater This color was not what I originally selected online, but the color combination was SO pretty in person! The perfect fall colors and such a beautiful surprise.

9. Chantelle Lingerie Soft Stretch Seamless Hipster Panties I’ve told all my friends about these! Once you try them, you won’t want any other brand. They are one-size-fits-all (which sounds crazy, I know!), but they are incredibly stretchy while still holding their shape. My daughter even loves them. There are several different cuts available, but I personally prefer the Hipster. They are virtually no-show, comfortable, and completely no-fuss!

10. Faherty Stripe Organic & Recycled Cotton Jersey Rugby Shirt Very oversized (size down if you can) but still so cute!! I also love this slightly cheaper Caslon version!

Bonus! I couldn’t narrow it down to just 10. Varley Guilia Texture Polo This top is so versatile. I have it paired with casual navy shorts here, but it looks just as cute with jeans or dressed up with tailored pants.

9. UGG Kids’ Classic Mini II Boot Tried. Tested. A favorite color for sure!

10. Mermade Hair Auto Curl Tong She has the waver and loves it, so I have no doubt the curler is amazing too!

Gluten Free Puff Pastry!!

This Gluten Free Puff Pastry will blow your mind! I used it to make chocolate croissants this morning, and we couldn’t believe they were gluten free. I can’t wait to try the pizza recipe on the back of the box and a few savory apps with it as well!

Gluten Free Chocolate Croissant Recipe:

Thaw dough in refrigerator
Preheat oven to 425 degrees (reduce later)
Roll dough to 9×12”
Brush with egg wash
Slice into 6 strips and then again down the middle to make 12 (aprox. 1×4” pieces)
Sprinkle with sugar and chocolate chips
Roll and place on parchment paper
Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar
Place in freezer for 10 minutes
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
